Introducing Chiropractic

The team at Bristol chiropractor, Cotham Chiropractic Clinic is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.

Our location in Cotham is in easy reach of the city centre by public transport

There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal manipulation or adjustment.  Our treatment involves safe, often gentle manipulation to create freedom in your joints. Apart from manipulation, we use a variety of therapies including ice, heat, massage, trigger point therapy, exercise and acupuncture dry needling as well as offering advice about posture and lifestyle.

“It can prevent future problems, no matter how old you are.”

The body is a very adaptable structure and as such it has a remarkable capability to compensate for disease and dysfunction. Because of this, pain is often the last symptom to appear. Chiropractors can uncover underlying dysfunction before it becomes painful and help you become the best you can be through chiropractic care, without drugs or surgery.

This is probably due to the reduction of the integrity of the tissues and the body’s ability to repair itself. We all know that it’s not a good idea to smoke, but this specific set of findings may just help to boost the desire to quit once and for all! Source
